WHAT YOU WILL DO

Working directly as a Developmental Disability Aid, you will be able to assist in a residential setting and/or community-based setting. The (caregiver/mentor) is responsible for providing: Provide direct personal care or mentoring with daily activities to those we support in a manner that promotes independent living. Some examples include helping with meals, cleaning, transportation, and facilitating fun social activities. Aids provide hands-on mentoring to those we serve to help them become more independent. Provide safe, confidential, and respectful services. Document individual supported plan goals. Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old High school diploma or GED certificate and or take a literacy test Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record Current auto liability insurance Reliable transportation
