Ensure the safety of children by adhering to child supervision best practices, maintaining a clean environment, and following mandated reporting laws when necessary. Administer basic first aid and CPR in emergency situations to ensure children's health and safety at all times. Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding daily activities, progress, concerns, or updates about their child's well-being. Support children with disabilities by adapting activities and providing personalized care that encourages independence and participation. Manage behavior using positive reinforcement techniques while fostering emotional regulation and social skills development. Experience Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare centers, preschools, babysitting, nannying, or youth programs is highly valued. Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices. Experience caring for infants through elementary school-age children, including toddler care and preschooler supervision. Familiarity with activity planning for children that promotes growth in areas like motor skills, cognitive development, and social-emotional learning. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; ongoing training in childhood safety standards is preferred. Proven ability to communicate effectively with parents or guardians about children's needs and progress. Understanding of behavior management strategies suitable for young children with diverse needs or disabilities.
