Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting to promote comfort and dignity in your home Support residents with medication reminders and monitor vital signs as needed to ensure health and safety in your home Provide companionship and engage residents in social activities to foster mental stimulation and emotional well-being in your home Operate manual handling equipment such as Hoyer lifts safely to assist with resident transfers in your home Prepare nutritious meals in accordance with dietary plans, ensuring proper hygiene and cleanliness standards are maintained in your home Follow resident's rights policies diligently, respecting privacy and promoting autonomy at all times Maintain accurate documentation of care provided, behavioral observations, and any incidents or changes in condition Requirements Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or residential care homes is highly preferred Knowledge of Alzheimer's care, dementia management, memory care, and behavioral management techniques Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; This will be provided Ability to operate standard passenger vehicles safely when needed for community outings or appointments Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or cognitive impairments is advantageous Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks while ensuring safe patient lifting practices Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration Familiarity with medication administration procedures and vital signs monitoring is a plus Join us if you're passionate about caregiving and eager to support individuals in achieving their best quality of life.
