Overview Join our dedicated team as an Overnight Newborn Caregiver, where your nurturing skills and passion for infant care will make a meaningful difference in families' lives. This role is perfect for certified doulas, trainees, or experienced caregivers eager to provide compassionate overnight support to new parents and their precious babies. As an essential part of our caregiving community, you will help ensure infants are safe, comfortable, and well-cared-for during nighttime hours, fostering a peaceful environment that promotes healthy sleep routines and parental peace of mind. This position is a paid W-2 employment opportunity designed to empower caregivers committed to delivering exceptional overnight care in a supportive, professional setting. Responsibilities Provide attentive overnight care for newborns, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being throughout the night Monitor infants' sleep patterns and respond promptly to their needs, including feeding, diaper changes, and soothing techniques Maintain a clean and organized sleep environment to promote healthy routines and hygiene standards Document infant care activities accurately and communicate any concerns or observations to parents or supervising staff Support new parents by offering reassurance and guidance on infant care practices when appropriate Follow all safety protocols, including first aid and CPR procedures, to handle emergencies effectively Assist with light household tasks related to infant care, such as sterilizing bottles or organizing baby supplies Skills Certified in first aid and CPR with the ability to respond swiftly in emergency situations Prior experience working with infants, including newborns and toddlers, preferably in a caregiving or nannying capacity Knowledge of child supervision best practices for children of all ages including preschoolers and elementary school-age children Experience caring for children with disabilities or special needs is highly valued Strong understanding of childcare routines such as feeding, diapering, soothing, and sleep training Ability to provide personal transportation assistance if needed for family errands or appointments Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with families and team members while maintaining professionalism This role offers an enriching opportunity for passionate caregivers eager to support families during one of the most precious stages of life.
