Sleep permitted Position Summary We are hiring one dependable caregiver for a small, state-licensed assisted living home serving five residents. The regular schedule is Monday, Tuesday, and Friday. You will be off Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday. This position combines daytime caregiving with an overnight presence in the home. Sleep is permitted overnight. You only need to respond if a resident requires assistance. This is a small assisted living setting, not a skilled nursing facility or hospital. The home has a low resident census and a structured daily routine. Most residents are independent and sleep through the night. There are no bedbound residents. Daytime Responsibilities Assist residents with activities of daily living as needed Prepare and serve meals Administer medications within CMT responsibilities Provide supervision and resident support Complete light resident-related housekeeping Maintain a safe and organized environment Document and communicate relevant resident information Overnight Responsibilities Remain on-site overnight Sleep is permitted Respond to resident needs if they arise Maintain an on-site presence for resident safety Qualifications Current Maryland CMT certification required Current CPR certification required Previous caregiving experience preferred Assisted living or home care experience preferred Reliable attendance Comfortable remaining at the home overnight Able to communicate effectively in spoken and written English Successful completion of required background screening Physical examination required Legally authorized to work in the

Day shift plus overnight Three scheduled days per week. Off Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday. Compensation $200 per scheduled day, including the overnight on-site period. $1,000 retention bonus after one year of continuous employment. Training will take place in Pasadena, Maryland. This position is suited for a caregiver who prefers a small residential environment, a consistent three-day schedule, and overnight periods where sleeping is permitted.
