Job Description We are currently seeking compassionate, organized, and highly communicative individuals to join our team. Ideal candidates will possess excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to set and maintain healthy boundaries, and a strong commitment to advocating for clients' needs. Responsibilities Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene Provide mobility assistance, transfers, and support with safe movement as needed Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and maintaining proper hydration Provide medication reminders and other routine care as directed Perform light housekeeping tasks related to the individual's care, including laundry, dishes, and tidying Assist with errands, appointments, shopping, and other activities as needed Provide companionship and meaningful social interaction Monitor and report changes in the individual's condition, behavior, or overall well-being Follow the individual's care plan and any instructions provided by family members or healthcare professionals Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment Respect the individual's privacy, preferences, independence, and personal boundaries Maintain confidentiality and always demonstrate professionalism
Schedule:
Flexible, starting at 7 hours per week with opportunity to increase over time.
Caregiving Positions Available:
Specially Trained Attendant (STA): Provide essential support for clients by assisting them to acquire, retain, and improve the self-help, socialization, and adaptive skills necessary to reside sucessfully in home and community settings. This includes but is not limited to organization, appointment scheduling, and medical management.
Experience and Qualifications:
We welcome individuals with a variety of caregiving backgrounds, including both personal and professional experience in home health, caregiving, or medical fields.
Preferred qualifications include:
Previous caregiving experience (personal or professional) Experience in home health or medical settings (such as personal care, nursing assistance, or medical administration) Knowledge of medical terminology, health management, or therapeutic activities Certification in CPR, First Aid, or similar health and safety training is a plus, but not required Benefits Health insurance & Dental insurance 401(k) Flexible scheduling
