W-2 About the Family A warm, active family in Freehold, NJ is seeking an experienced, dependable, and engaging long-term nanny to care for two young children, ages 2.5 years and 7 months . The family is looking for someone who genuinely enjoys being active with children, spending time outdoors, encouraging development, and creating a fun and nurturing environment. Responsibilities Provide attentive, hands-on care for both children Support the children's developmental, educational, and social growth Prepare and serve children's meals and snacks Assist with diaper changes and getting the children ready for the day Wash bottles and children's dishes Children's laundry and tidying of children's spaces Read books, do crafts, play, and engage in age-appropriate activities Spend time outdoors in the backyard and go on walks and other outdoor activities when weather permits Support the 2.5-year-old as she begins homeschooling program Assist with nap routines A Typical Day The children enjoy an active routine with plenty of opportunities for outdoor play, reading, crafts, walks, bike riding, and exploring. The family enjoys spending time outside whenever possible. The older child loves reading, and the nanny will have opportunities to incorporate books, creative activities, playroom time, and developmentally appropriate learning throughout the day.
