Job Description

We're looking for a warm, attentive, and energetic caregiver to join our family and care for our 15-month-old son. He's a happy, loving little guy with a big personality — always on the move, curious about everything, and eager to explore. He loves trying new foods and would thrive with someone who enjoys getting outside and discovering the world right alongside him. About the Role You'll have the run of our home while caring for him during the day, while a parent works from home nearby. We're looking for someone who can keep up with his energy, keep him engaged and safe, and bring warmth and consistency to his day. Responsibilities Provide attentive, engaged care for an active, curious 15-month-old Prepare meals and snacks (he's an adventurous eater who loves food!) Limit and manage screen time appropriately Take him outside daily to explore our large acreage and play in the garden Plan age-appropriate activities that support his development and curiosity Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing environment throughout the home
Schedule Monday-Wednesday:
8:00 AM - 3:00
PM Thursday-Friday:
9:00 AM - 3:30 PM Occasionally will ask if you can stay until 4:30-5 PM (about 1x a month) One Friday per month off, paid at the regular rate Holidays (Christmas Eve, Christmas, Thanksgiving, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, etc./Federal Holidays off and paid at regular weekly rate) Pay issued weekly, every Friday afternoon What We're Looking For Genuine love for toddlers and high energy to match an active little boy Experience caring for infants/toddlers (references preferred) Comfortable cooking simple, healthy-ish meals for a young child (we're ok with moderation on not so healthy foods!) Enjoys outdoor play and exploration in all kinds of weather Reliable, punctual, and communicative CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)
Pay:
$280.00 - $350.00 per week
