We are currently seeking Caregivers to join our team. As a Caregiver, you will play a key role in enhancing the lives of seniors in our community. If you do not have prior experience or certifications, Always Neighbors offers the training needed to help you become qualified. These qualifications will prepare you to serve our valued clients in their homes while also ensuring that all caregivers are knowledgeable and confident in the care they provide.
Job Types:
Full-time ($1,000 Sign-on Bonus) Overtime hours are also available ($27.00 /hr).
Pay:
Starting at $18.00 /hr
Responsibilities:
Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding. Provide companionship and emotional support. Help with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and laundry. Assist with mobility and transferring clients. Monitor and report changes in clients' physical and mental health. Provide medication reminders as required. Maintain client confidentiality and follow all care plans as outlined.
Qualifications:
Previous caregiving experience is preferred but not required (training provided). Compassionate, patient, and reliable. Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks. Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license and auto insurance. Ability to pass a background check, including driving record.
