Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Personal Care Supervisor / Lead CNA to join our dedicated healthcare team. In this vital leadership role, you will oversee daily personal care operations, supervise Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and ensure the delivery of exceptional patient-centered care. Duties Supervise and mentor CNAs and direct care staff to ensure quality patient care aligned with facility policies and state healthcare regulations Coordinate daily schedules, assignments, and task prioritization to optimize patient outcomes and staff efficiency Conduct regular patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and functional evaluations to inform individualized care plans Ensure accurate documentation of patient care activities using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems while maintaining strict adherence to HIPAA privacy standards Oversee medication administration, catheter care, tube feeding, IV infusion procedures, and sterile techniques in compliance with nursing policies Facilitate communication between multidisciplinary teams, families, and patients to support discharge planning and ongoing care needs Monitor staff performance through evaluations, provide ongoing training on medical terminology, infection control, dementia care, and emergency procedures such as airway management or ventilator support Requirements Valid CNA certification with current state licensure; prior experience as a Lead CNA or Nurse Supervisor preferred Demonstrated supervisory or team management experience within long-term care facilities or hospitals Strong knowledge of medical documentation practices including

ICD-9/10

coding, CPT coding, and utilization review processes Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Cerner or Athenahealth; experience working with electronic documentation is highly desirable Familiarity with healthcare regulations including HIPAA, long-term care regulations, and acute care standards Critical care experience including ICU or Level I/II Trauma Center exposure is advantageous Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively and provide clear managerial communication Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, infection control protocols, and patient assessment techniques Join us in making a meaningful difference by leading compassionate caregiving that enhances lives every day!
