We are urgently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Aide to provide exceptional support to individuals in need of assistance with daily activities and personal care. This vital role involves delivering high-quality, respectful, and personalized care to enhance the well-being and independence of clients across various settings. Schedule:
9am-2pm M-F Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support Monitor patient condition through vigilant observation of vital signs, behavioral changes, and overall health status Support clients with medication administration following prescribed protocols while maintaining accurate medical documentation Assist with transfers using patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts or gait belts, ensuring safety at all times Provide specialized care for clients with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or other memory impairments, including memory care strategies Support end-of-life care efforts with compassion, dignity, and respect for patients' wishes and comfort Maintain strict adherence to home healthcare regulations, HIPAA guidelines, and confidentiality standards Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and ensuring a safe environment Respond promptly to client needs during emergencies by applying first aid or basic life support (BLS) techniques as required Skills Proven experience working with elderly or disabled individuals in assisted living or home healthcare settings Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medication management, catheter care, and vital signs monitoring Excellent patient observation skills to detect changes in condition or behavior early on Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members while maintaining confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines Physical stamina for heavy lifting and assisting with patient transfers using appropriate methods such as Hoyer lifts or transfer belts Experience providing dementia care, Alzheimer's care, hospice support, or working within geriatrics is highly desirable Knowledge of home health care assistance regulations and best practices in senior care and community-based services Compassionate caregiving attitude combined with strong organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently Join us in delivering compassionate care that truly makes a difference!
