Overview We are seeking a caring and energetic Part-Time Caregiver to join our team in Louisa, VA. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and individuals with disabilities by providing personalized assistance with daily activities, health monitoring, and companionship. If you're passionate about delivering exceptional care and fostering independence, we want to hear from you! Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal hygiene, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patient health by observing vital signs and reporting any changes to healthcare professionals Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal planning Support clients with medication administration following prescribed schedules and safety protocols Help with light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment Provide transportation assistance for appointments, errands, or community outings Follow care plans diligently while respecting residents' rights and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations Qualifications Experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is highly preferred Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, and hospice care practices Ability to observe patients closely and monitor vital signs accurately Familiarity with patient transfer methods including Hoyer lifts and patient transfer techniques CPR and first aid certification required or willingness to obtain upon hire Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration Ability to perform manual handling tasks and heavy lifting safely when necessary Experience supporting individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities is a plus Reliable transportation and a compassionate attitude are essential Join us in providing vital support that empowers individuals to live comfortably and independently.
