Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Aide to join our team. In this vital role, you will provide essential support to clients with diverse needs, assisting with daily activities, health monitoring, and personal care. Your efforts will help enhance the well-being and comfort of those you serve, ensuring they receive the highest standard of home care. Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support. Monitor and document patient observations, vital signs, and overall health status to ensure safety and well-being. Support medication administration and adherence according to care plans while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations. Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal planning and cooking. Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing living spaces. Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices to safely transfer clients with mobility challenges. Collaborate with nursing staff, social workers, and family members to develop and implement personalized care plans that meet each client's unique needs. Skills Proven experience in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or group home settings. Knowledge of patient observation techniques, vital signs monitoring, and basic nursing skills including CPR and first aid certification. Familiarity with dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, hospice care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and healthcare professionals. Experience in medication administration, care planning, and documentation while adhering to HIPAA standards. Compassionate attitude combined with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently. Pay:
$16.50 - $17.50 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 45.0 per week
