Details The Resident Assistant is responsible for providing personal care services, assistance and support to our residents. This position is also responsible for assisting and overseeing our residents in their activities of daily living as required. In this role, the Resident Assistant must enthusiastically support The Chancellor Way which includes our vision, mission, and individual department standards and expectations. Teamwork is required in all aspects of our community's operations and specifically in the provision of any services for our residents.

Bottom Line:

The Resident Assistant is responsible for delivering the highest level of personal care service and hospitality to our residents, families, guests, and fellow employees. This role is essential in meeting the expectations of our customers - our residents! We are currenlty looking for FT/PT day/evening/night shifts.

Qualifications:

Ability to read and write English; must be able to read and comprehend all resident services policies and procedures, and chemical labeling and the Material Safety Data Sheets for all items used in this position. Experience as a nursing assistant, home health aide or as a caregiver for seniors is preferred but we will train. Must be able to work and communicate effectively with the senior population. Maintain current knowledge of policies, procedures, and regulations as related to the position and/or department. Safely operate all equipment used in position. Maintain confidentiality of all employee and resident information. Work as a team member with other employees in providing services to residents. Work independently when required. Meet established schedules and deadlines and to provide on-going progress reports to the Wellness Manager.
