Social Work Full Job Description Responsibilities:
  • Provide case management services to individuals and families in need
  • Conduct assessments to determine client needs and develop individualized service plans
  • Assist clients in accessing and navigating various social service programs, such as workforce development, Section 8 housing, Medicare, and childcare assistance
  • Advocate for clients and coordinate with other service providers to ensure comprehensive care
  • Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to empower clients and promote self-sufficiency
  • Monitor client progress and make necessary adjustments to service plans
  • Provide crisis intervention and support during emergencies or challenging situations
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records
Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in social work or a related field preferred
  • Previous experience working in a case management role, particularly in the areas of child welfare or workforce development, is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of community resources and social service programs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
