org Position details:

full-time $18-$21 per hour and eligible for overtime works on-site at emergency housing facility in Anderson, IN and may occasionally work at off-site locations

Responsibilities:

Provide case management and supportive services for emergency housing program participants. Case managers work with survivors to identify their current needs, establish short- and long-term goals, and create a plan for achieving them. Key functions of the position include: crisis intervention safety planning providing information and referrals service documentation and daily case notes building support systems and networks answering crisis phone calls provide awareness opportunities assist with maintaining program operations including (when needed) adjusting schedule to maintain 24-hour coverage, cleaning, and maintenance

Requirements:

Alternatives Inc. values lived experience (domestic and sexual violence survivors), prior work experience in customer service roles, and secondary education. To be successful in this position candidates need: skills in written documentation and interpersonal communication ability to de-escalate crisis situations and maintain order in emergencies skills in basic computer operation and programs a valid Indiana driver's license is preferred, but not required and will be discussed during the interview process.
