Under the supervision of the Director of Client Services, provides holistic, comprehensive services to OASIS residential clients, nonresidential clients, and their children.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Provides individual and group counseling, advocacy, crisis intervention, safety planning, education, and supportive services for OASIS clients in accordance with applicable victim service standards, OASIS policies and procedures, and grant or program requirements. Provides services to promote family self-sufficiency. Assists clients in establishing a safety plan, identifying goals, and locating resources to achieve them. Coordinates client needs with appropriate staff. Responds to crisis calls; provides information and referrals as needed. Completes client intakes, assessments and exits according to OASIS Policies and Procedures. Enters required client data, services provided, and timely, accurate case notes into Vela in accordance with OASIS documentation requirements. Maintains client files as outlined in OASIS Policies and Procedures. Provides information, referrals, crisis intervention and advocacy services for program participants. Documents and makes appropriate reports to the Cabinet for Health and Family Services Attends case staffing's, in-services, trainings and staff meetings as assigned. Performs public speaking duties; represents agency in community or interagency activities. Participates in on-call rotation as required Provides agency services to hospitals, social service agencies, schools and law enforcement agencies. Performs required room and apartment checks in accordance with OASIS Policies and Procedures, including identifying and reporting safety, maintenance, cleanliness, pest, or other concerns. Facilitates client entries to campus and provides follow-up client services upon exit. Transfers phone lines to campus when office is unattended. Assists with packing, securing, documenting, moving, and appropriately handling client belongings left behind following a client exit in accordance with OASIS Policies and Procedures. Cleans and prepares client rooms and apartments following exits, including removing trash and abandoned items; sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, wiping and sanitizing surfaces; washing dishes; making beds; and other tasks necessary to prepare the space for the next client. Attends and participates in required community outreach, awareness, fundraising, and agency events, including events scheduled during evenings and weekends. Performs other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE
Bachelors Degree in Social Work or related field or equivalent experience. Two years experience in a human service field or equivalent experience. Computer data entry skills.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, financial reports, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations and legal documents. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, procedure manuals, speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from supervisors, clients, fellow employees, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to apply concepts of basic math and algebra.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must meet certification and training standards required by OASIS and applicable victim service standards, as directed by supervisor. Must meet certification standards as outlined by the ZeroV as directed by supervisor. Must hold or be able to obtain a valid Kentucky Driver's License.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear. The employee is frequently required to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, push, pull, and move throughout client rooms, apartments, offices, and common areas. Duties require the ability to climb and descend stairs multiple times during a shift while carrying client meals, supplies, belongings, cleaning materials, or other items. The employee must be able to perform hands-on cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, wiping and sanitizing surfaces, washing dishes, making beds, removing trash, and preparing rooms and apartments following client exits. The employee must frequently lift and/or carry up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or carry up to 35 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation. The position also requires periods of sustained walking and standing and the physical ability to assist with packing, moving, and handling client belongings. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee may encounter while performing the essential functions of this position. Work is performed in a residential domestic violence shelter, office settings, client rooms and apartments, common areas, community locations, and other settings where OASIS services are provided. The employee may work in areas occupied by adults, children, and families and must maintain appropriate professional boundaries, confidentiality, safety awareness, and trauma-informed practices. The employee may regularly move throughout the facility, including between floors and client living areas, and may be required to use stairs throughout the workday. The employee may be exposed to cleaning products, dust, dirt, trash, soiled household items, unpleasant odors, and other conditions associated with cleaning and preparing client rooms and apartments following client exits. Appropriate personal protective equipment should be used when required. Because OASIS provides services to individuals and families experiencing domestic violence and crisis situations, the employee may occasionally encounter emotionally distressed, agitated, or escalated individuals and must be able to respond appropriately in accordance with OASIS policies, procedures, training, and safety protocols. The position may require work outside of normal business hours, including evenings and weekends, for community events, outreach activities, trainings, emergencies, or other agency needs. The noise level may range from quiet to moderate and may occasionally be elevated due to the residential and crisis-service nature of the facility.
Machines and Equipment:
Transportation of vehicles, computers, telephones, office machines and equipment, household appliances, cleaning equipment, and other equipment necessary to perform assigned duties.
