•5:00 PM (40 hours per week). May require some flexible hours for outreach and community events.
Salary Range:
High 30's
•low 40's ( Negotiable based on education and experience)
Program Summary:
MBRC Fatherhood First Partnership (FFP) is a new five-year federal grant program designed to strengthen families by engaging adult fathers (ages 18 and older), individuals, and couples through evidence-based parenting education, case management, employment readiness, and supportive services in Dunklin, Mississippi, New Madrid, Pemiscot, and Scott counties. Applicants who are committed to strengthening families and supporting positive father involvement are encouraged to apply. Candidates selected for an interview should be prepared to discuss and demonstrate their relevant skills and experience.
Position :
The Case Manager is assigned a caseload of active participants and works with a team. Recruit fathers and couples through community outreach and maintain partnerships with community organizations. Promote mentoring and peer-led activities involving rap sessions and peer leadership. Engage fathers through an evidence-based curriculum, case management, and community outreach. Assist in the coordination of services across counties and ensure high-quality service delivery to fathers, individuals, and couples. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, enjoys working with families, and excels at building and maintaining community relationships. Candidates selected for an interview should be prepared to discuss and demonstrate their relevant skills and experience. Key Responsibilities Case Management and Advocacy develop individualized plans and referrals. Assist with facilitating trainings and workshops for program participants, community partners, and faith-based organizations in the care coordination process Support a team-oriented environment. Mentorship and support.
• Documentation and support.
• Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Required Qualifications College Degree is not required; some college preferred; Community Health Worker certification a plus. Minimum of 1-2 years of experience preferred with in-family support and mentoring programs. Strong interpersonal communication, public speaking, and facilitation skills, with an understanding of the barriers faced by fathers.
• Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite
•Outlook, Word, PowerPoint Preferred Qualifications Experience working with adult fathers, couples, or family-centered programs. Knowledge of the communities served in Scott, Mississippi, New Madrid, Pemiscot, and Dunklin counties. Experience in working with community organizations.
