Location:
This role will serve clients and our office at both of our office locations (Lake Oswego and Salem). We'd prefer that the ideal candidate's primary office is based out of our Lake Oswego office but we can accomodate space at our Salem office, as well. This job also has the potential for Hybrid/Remote Work based on calendar needs. Local travel (Portland to Eugene) is required - vehicle not provided but mileage is reimbursed.
Salary Range:
$25/hour+ depending on experience

We are a small boutique law firm specializing in estate planning, guardianships, probates, and conservatorships. Responsibilities:
Update and maintain client files. Calendar deadlines and tasks. Keep attorney and staff informed on cases. Maintain contact with clients, facilities, and family members. Meet in-person with clients, benficiaries, and Protected Persons. Run errands for clients and/or the law firm. Be responsible for billing of time. Review mail and invoices for clients, beneficiaries, and Protected Persons. Communicate with DHS, care facilities, funeral homes, doctors, care managers, and the Department of Veterans Affairs. Set up appointments with clients, beneficiaries, and Protected Persons. Attend appointments with clients, beneficiaries, and Protected Persons. Draft correspondence. Review client financial statements Prepare Accountings and financial statements for guardianships and conservatorships Communicate with courts, financial advisors and financial institutions, and other parties as needed Support the firm in administrative tasks as required
Minimum Qualifications:
Undergraduate Degree or 1-3 years of experience working in a social services work setting, or any combination of experience to meet these requirements. Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, specifically Word, Excel, and Adobe.
