Valid driver's license, car insurance (annual verification required), and reliable personal transportation for travel within Pennsylvania as needed
Physical Conditions:
Moderate physical effort in a predominately sitting, standing or walking position. Manual dexterity needed for writing and typing. Occasional bending, stooping, or lifting up to 20 lbs

Positive attitude, proactive approach and commitment to teamwork, respectful communication with parents, providers, and co-workers, effective oral and written communication and organizational skills, strict adherence to confidentiality guidelines, satisfactory attendance, punctual arrival and completion of scheduled work hours
Location:
Location is hybrid. While primarily working from home, on-site work will occasionally be required and may be increased as needed. Residency required within approximately 1 hour of primary physical office.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Problem solving ability where independent judgment may be required 2. Comprehends, understands, and applies OCDEL Regulations, policies and procedures with respect to 55 PA Code Chapter 3042 3. Processes documentation in a timely manner as set forth in policy, related to the eligibility of families applying for or already enrolled in the child care subsidy program(s) 4. Promotes quality early childhood education and counsels families on child care settings and options 5. Maintains a neat and organized work space, maintains strict confidentiality and minimizes distractions especially as related to working from home 6. Represents the ELRC in person or over the phone with the Federal Bureau of Hearings and Appeals 7. Occasionally represents the ELRC at various human service meetings 8. Participates in eligibility meetings, either in-person or virtually 9. Counsels families on their rights and responsibilities as recipients of subsidized child care benefits through individual personal interviews, phone communication and by written correspondence 10. As a mandated reporter, reports child abuse of any kind 11. Follows agency policies and procedures set forth in the ELRC Employment manual 12. Completes additional duties as may be assigned by Supervisor, Director, or other member of management
Pay:
From $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
