•5:00 pm How you'll make an impact in this role:

Payer & Referral Coordination:

Serve as a key liaison between case management, admissions, and payers, securing service authorizations, managing denial reporting, and coordinating patient transfers.

Patient Referral Management:

Facilitate and document all external agency and facility referrals while strictly honoring and recording patient choice preferences.

Discharge Optimization:

Expedite patient discharge timelines by transmitting required clinical documentation to receiving providers to secure fast acceptance.

Cross-Functional Communication:

Document all payer interactions and maintain real-time communication with case management staff regarding patient status. What minimum qualifications you'll need:

Education:

High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Note:

Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable. What additional requirements you'll need: 3 years Medical office experience, Imaging experience a plus. 3 years experience obtaining medical authorizations.
