Temporary Senior Case Manager

Job Description

TriSource Staffing Solutions is seeking a Temporary Senior Case Manager to lead the case management team at a large homeless shelter in Leesburg, VA while maintaining a direct caseload of participants staying at an off-site hotel location. This leadership role combines hands-on case management with staff support and operational coordination. The ideal candidate is passionate about Housing First principles, enjoys mentoring others, and thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and community partners to help individuals and families secure permanent housing and successfully transition out of homelessness. This is a temporary full-time position through October 31, 2026.
Job Duties:
Manage a caseload of participants at the off-site hotel location. Develop individualized Housing First service plans focused on achieving permanent housing. Assist participants with housing searches, referrals, advocacy, and document collection. Coordinate rental assistance packages using multiple funding sources and manage recertification when needed. Connect participants with essential resources including employment, childcare, healthcare, clothing, and other supportive services. Conduct community and off-site visits to ensure accessible, participant-centered services. Provide day-to-day leadership and guidance to Case Managers. Facilitate service plan reviews, team meetings, coaching, and supervision as needed. Help ensure high-quality, consistent, trauma-informed service delivery. Work closely with the Assistant Director of Programs, hotel staff, intake and referral teams, and community partners to ensure appropriate shelter capacity and coordinated services. Communicate participant updates promptly with appropriate staff. Coordinate referrals and maintain ongoing communication with external service providers. Maintain accurate participant records in HMIS. Oversee HMIS data quality and monthly data clean-up efforts. Ensure timely documentation, scanning, and chart maintenance. Participate in file audits, intake reviews, staff meetings, trainings, and on-call manager rotations. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience). At least 3 years of experience in case management, street outreach, homelessness services, or related direct service work. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to drive a 15-passenger van. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and participate in on-call rotations as needed.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday day time hours. 40 hours a week
Pay Rate:
