Job Description
Community Outreach Coordinator - Behavioral Health Part-Time | $20-$25/hour | Maryland You Turn Behavioral Health Services is seeking a results-driven Community Outreach Coordinator to increase behavioral health referrals and connect children and adults with needed mental health services. Responsibilities Develop relationships with schools, hospitals, healthcare providers, social workers, case managers, community organizations, nonprofits, and other referral sources Conduct consistent phone, email, virtual, and in-person outreach Generate qualified prospective-client referrals and intake opportunities Build and maintain productive referral partnerships Follow up consistently with referral sources Track outreach, referrals, scheduled intakes, and outcomes Attend community and networking events as needed Work closely with the intake team to help prospective clients access services promptly What We're Looking For Experience in behavioral health, healthcare outreach, community outreach, human services, admissions, marketing, or business development preferred Strong communication and relationship-building skills Self-motivated and comfortable with measurable performance expectations Existing Maryland healthcare or behavioral health relationships are required 14-Day Introductory Period This position includes a 14-day introductory performance period . Outreach begins immediately, and performance will be evaluated based on both outreach activity and measurable progress toward generating qualified referrals, completed intakes, and new clients beginning appropriate services. Activity alone is not considered successful performance. All outreach must comply with applicable healthcare and Medicaid requirements. Prospective clients maintain freedom of choice, and admission is based on standard eligibility, clinical, and intake requirements.
