Job Description

Position Summary:
The Regional Coordinator services are the primary liaison among participating regional recovery community organizations, recovery residences, healthcare systems, state agencies, and project partners. The position supports statewide collaboration, stakeholder engagement, accreditation readiness activities, healthcare integration efforts, and implementation of project objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary liaison between the coalition and participating regional recovery community organizations, recovery residences, healthcare partners, state agencies, and project stakeholders. Coordinate regional coalition meetings, learning collaboratives, and stakeholder engagement activities. Support accreditation readiness, technical assistance, and implementation activities. Facilitate communication among regional project partners and participating organizations. Assist with recruitment and engagement of recovery community organizations, recovery residences, and healthcare organizations. Coordinate outreach and dissemination of project resources and educational materials. Support implementation of statewide partnership development strategies. Assist with project documentation and continuous quality improvement activities.
Qualifications:
High school diploma required; associate's or bachelor's degree in behavioral health, public health, nonprofit management, communications, or related field preferred. Lived experience in recovery from substance use disorder or co-occurring conditions required. CPRS credential or ability to obtain within six months of hire. Experience in peer support, outreach, or navigation preferred. Minimum three years of experience coordinating coalitions, community partnerships, or statewide behavioral health initiatives. Experience working with Recovery Community Organizations, healthcare systems, or government agencies preferred.
Skills and Knowledge Required:
Knowledge of recovery principles, community resources, motivational communication, documentation, confidentiality, professional boundaries, cultural responsiveness, Coalition building, stakeholder engagement, facilitation, communication, relationship development, public speaking, technical assistance, organization, and project coordination.
Travel and Special Requirements:
Frequent travel throughout assigned New Jersey regions for meetings, trainings, outreach, conferences, and stakeholder engagement activities; occasional evening or weekend activities. 40 hours per week.
Compensation details:
50000-55000 Yearly Salary
