Key Qualifications:

Bachelors degree required; Masters degree in Social Work or Counseling preferred Valid State Counselor License (LPC, LCSW, LMSW, or LAC) Previous experience as a school-based counselor or social worker desirable Ability to manage a diverse K-12 caseload and build rapport with students of all ages Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators, families, and peers Commitment to ethical and culturally responsive practices

Core Responsibilities:

Provide individual and group counseling to support student growth and emotional wellbeing Conduct assessments and develop intervention strategies for students facing academic, behavioral, or social barriers Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement individualized plans Assist with crisis intervention and create safe, supportive learning spaces Maintain required documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines Advocate for student needs and connect families with community resources Experience the satisfaction of working in a role where each day brings new opportunities to guide and empower students.
