Job Description

The Boys & Girls Club of North Lake Tahoe is dedicated to inspiring and enabling all young people to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. As an Art Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by nurturing the creativity and artistic growth of our club members. Working under the guidance of the KB Clubhouse Manager, you will design and implement engaging arts programming for both our after-school and summer camp sessions. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about youth development, value inclusivity, and are committed to fostering a positive and supportive environment where every child can thrive. Responsibilities Develop and implement a diverse and engaging art curriculum for after-school and summer camp programs. Lead and supervise groups of students in a safe, supportive, and inclusive out-of-school environment. Promote a positive club atmosphere that supports youth development and aligns with the organizations core values of honesty, respect, and responsibility. Effectively manage student conflicts, address problems and emergencies, and make sound decisions independently as needed. Collaborate with senior staff to support the overall success of club operations and mission. Maintain accurate records and reports, including daily attendance and incident documentation. Qualifications Bachelors degree in recreation, behavioral sciences, education, administration, or a related field. At least three years of experience working with children and adolescents, including one year in program management Experience managing groups of students in an out-of-school or similar youth-focused environment. Ability to foster a nurturing, supportive, and inclusive atmosphere for all participants. Strong interpersonal skills and a professional, customer-centered approach. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality regarding members, employees, and club information. Willingness to adhere to all organizational policies and procedures.
Offered compensation:
$22/hr - $25/hr Experience and License Requirements 21 Years Old Art Program Implementation Experience working with Youth Valid Drivers License
