You will provide activities, supervision, and quality care to children ages 0-12 during parent classes at a location in our community. Your work will enable you to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those we serve and will contribute to the positive, supportive work culture at The Matthews House. Please note that you need to be 18 or older to apply for this position. This position will be posted through 12pm MST on Friday, September 11, 2026. We are specifically looking for staff with availability every other Wednesday in Wellington from 5:45-8:15pm.
Pay Rate:
$ 16/hour
QUALIFICATIONS
Be culturally aware, sensitive, and compassionate to the people of the community being served Experience with early and middle childhood development Skills and experience in leading groups of children are required Be independent and able to work without supervision Have reliable transportation Ability to respond safely to emergency situations. Must pass an FBI fingerprint screening.
CHILDREN ACTIVITIES RESPONSIBILITIES
The minimum performance expectations include, but are not limited to, the following: Provide supervision and activities for children ages 0-12 while their parents are participating in classes at the CLC. Build relationships with children ages 0-12. Communicate with parents and caregivers about progress or needs. Be willing to fill in for open shifts as available.

Support and maintain the positive culture of The Matthews House and uphold agency values: relationship-centered, assume the best of people, own your role, innovation, remain curious. Communicate professionally through written documentation and verbal communication. Ensure all services provided are within the Matthews House guidelines and policies. Perform other duties as assigned.

Services will be provided in Wellington.
