Job Description

Elizabeth's Village is looking for a compassionate, driven, and organized Domestic Violence Advocate to join our team. This is more than a job, it's an opportunity to walk alongside survivors as they rebuild their lives. Every day is different, and every day has the chance to make a lasting impact.
Position:
Domestic Violence Advocate Status:
Full-Time, Hourly Pay:
$18-$20 per hour What You'll Do Provide crisis intervention and emotional support to survivors of domestic violence. Complete safety planning, advocacy, and case management. Connect clients with community resources, housing, legal assistance, healthcare, and other supportive services. Maintain accurate case documentation and confidential client records. Assist with shelter operations and support residents in meeting their goals. Work collaboratively with community partners and multidisciplinary teams. Help empower survivors as they move from crisis toward safety and stability. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or a related field preferred. Experience working in domestic violence advocacy, victim services, crisis intervention, or a similar human services role. Knowledge of trauma-informed care and survivor-centered advocacy. Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills. Ability to remain calm, compassionate, and professional during crisis situations. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
