We believe in self-determination, shared leadership, and person-centered support. About the Role This is a full-time, remote/hybrid position that serves Berks, Bucks and Montgomery counties in PA . Candidates must live near and be familiar with Berks, Bucks, Montgomery, Delaware, and Philadelphia counties - and travel to these areas on occasion. Supports Brokers provide information, guidance, and technical assistance so individuals can access, organize, and use services and community resources that support a self-determined life. The role is shaped by the priorities and goals of each person receiving brokerage services. What You'll Do While each Supports Broker role is uniquely defined by the individual supported, responsibilities often include: Supporting best practices in employee and staff management Promoting and protecting civil and personal rights Working collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team Partnering with individuals and families to support meaningful planning Supporting responsible and effective use of public funding We invest in our team members by offering 30 days of PTO annually, health insurance with employer contribution, dental coverage options, employer-paid disability and life insurance, an Employee Assistance Program, employee discounts, and other wellness supports. Requirements Be at least 18 years of age Hold a valid driver's license with a safe driving record Have reliable transportation Be willing to complete the SB Certification Skills & Abilities Successful Supports Brokers demonstrate the ability to: Work within a participative, shared-leadership environment Self-direct their work and manage responsibilities independently Collaborate effectively as part of a team Communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing Apply basic employment law principles, self-determination practices, and person-centered thinking and planning
Pay:
$19.00 - $22.00 per hour
