We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Work 3pm to 11pm M-T, Earlier schedule most Fridays as preferred. Duties Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors. Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas by ensuring they are stocked with necessary supplies and kept sanitary. Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, waxing, and polishing to maintain the appearance of various surfaces. Carry out residential painting tasks as needed to enhance the aesthetic appeal of facilities. Assist with commercial and industrial cleaning projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel for prompt resolution. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient cleaning operations and uphold high standards of cleanliness. Skills Experience in custodial or facilities maintenance roles is preferred. Proficiency in floor care techniques and equipment operation. Knowledge of commercial cleaning practices and industrial cleaning protocols. Ability to perform residential painting tasks as needed. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively. Strong communication skills to interact with team members and facility occupants professionally.
