Job Description:

Summary:

The Childcare Coordinator Assistant is responsible for providing a secure and safe environment for the children in The Wellness Center's/Fitness Center's childcare services area. He/she must be aware of and be able to attend to the needs of individual children. He/she should possess excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills and be willing to work a flexible schedule, be able to work independently without close supervision and be able to document attendance information clearly and accurately. He/she must contribute and complete their share of the work to ensure that productivity standards are met or exceeded. He/She must work effectively with other staff members as part of The Wellness Center/Fitness Center team. He/She must strive to continuously meet the needs of the customer and demonstrate excellent customer service. He/she will also be responsible for other duties as assigned such as maintaining cleanliness of the childcare services area and equipment.

Licenses and Certifications:

Must hold and maintain current CPR certification in both adult and child/infant CPR. Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and customer service skills required.
