This role is a perfect fit for someone who enjoys creativity, connection, and consistency - with a split shift schedule during the school year (mornings & afternoons) that still leaves mid-day free.

Wage:

$20.00/hr. - $24.32/hr. based off experience What You ll Do As a Before & After School Teacher, you ll help create a safe, engaging, and joyful environment where kids can learn, play, and grow.

You will:

Support a program that meets the emotional, physical, intellectual, and social needs of each child Interact, connect, and encourage children to participate in daily activities Prepare a warm, clean, and welcoming classroom environment Plan weekly curriculum-based lesson plans with your supervisor Provide opportunities for assistants and team members to contribute ideas Help supervise, train, and support staff to build a positive, cohesive team Communicate with families in a friendly, professional manner Observe and document important child behaviors and milestones Model and teach positive behavior-guidance techniques Attend staff meetings and participate in ongoing professional development Maintain program materials, supplies, and classroom readiness What You Bring Must be 18 years or older High school diploma or equivalent Two years of experience working with young children Ability to obtain: Food Handler s Permit First Aid/CPR Certification Child Care Basics within 3 months of hire Ability to pass the

Washington State DCYF Background Check ECE Requirements:

Paid Time Off (PTO) is accrued at varying rates depending on length of employment. Accrual rates begin at 5.32 hours per month based on a 40-hour workweek.
