Gateway Fellowship is seeking an energetic, compassionate and loving individual for the Children's Department of Moms & More. The ideal candidate will be reliable and be able to handle all areas of childcare work. As a member of the Gateway OneTeam, you will support and demonstrate an understanding of the church's mission: Helping people take their next step toward Christ. Key qualifications include possessing a character that reflects biblical godliness and demonstrates a meaningful, personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Job Status/Schedule

Sick Leave Responsibilities and Duties:
Attend the annual meeting to prepare for the year ahead, typically held in August. Alternate training will be provided for the 2026-2027 Moms & More session. Arrive each Thursday by 9:15 AM for prayer and to set up your classroom. Be ready with a smile as the first child arrives. Create a weekly schedule for your classroom to keep things consistent for the children.
Include things such as:
snack times, bathroom breaks, diaper changes, playtime, Bible stories, and outside time (as weather permits). Report any incidents such as injuries, accidents, fighting, biting and other behavioral issues to the Moms & More Children's Coordinator immediately. The Coordinator will contact the parent to pick up the child or speak further with the parent if necessary. Fill out and have the parent sign an Incident Report if the above occurs. Greet each Mom with encouraging comments as they pickup their child. Be as positive as possible, even when giving incident reports. Stay until the classroom is clean and ready for Sunday. Complete the check-off list and give it to the Coordinator before you leave. If you are unable to attend your scheduled shift, inform the Coordinator as soon as possible. Hold a valid First Aid and CPR Certification.
