00/hour Summary/Objective The Children's Ministry Elementary Special Accomodation Coordinator works closely with the Children's Ministry Pastor to provide care and support for families with children who have special needs in attending Life Center. The coordinator will schedule serve team members to serve in the classroom and communicate with families on how to best care for children and their specific needs. This position must be held by a person with upstanding Christian character and passion for children's ministry. The person filling this position must also affirm Life Center's mission statement and values. Supervisory Responsibility This role does not have a supervisory component. Responsibilities Works closely with LCKids Pastor

  • K-5th Grade.

Supports in developing ministry curriculum. Provides logistical support of children's programs. Facilitates recruitment of serve team members. Communicates with team members regarding schedules and assignments. Assists in training staff and volunteers as needed. Provides administrative support which may include general organization and communication tasks. Other reasonable duties as requested and assigned. Good problem solver. Working level knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook and Teams. Basic level technology skills to use HRIS/timeclock, staff intranet, etc. Working with or the ability to quickly learn the organization's systems and programs utilized by the ministry to conduct function of this role (i.e.: CCB, PCO, Pro Presenter, etc.) Detail oriented and working level organizational skills. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Good written and oral communication skills. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks. Ability to work under pressure and stay calm when unplanned circumstances arise. Ability to take initiate when needed. Demonstrates leadership ability and interpersonal skills. Maintains confidentiality of sensitive material. Works independently and models a collaborative team mindset. Compliant with Life Center's Policies and Practices, including but not limited to Employee Handbook and Safety Manual. Education, Experience, Certifications and Licensure High School Diploma or equivalent Associate Degree, Certificate, or current enrollment in related program of study a plus One year of practical experience in relevant field First Aid and CPR Certification Physical Demands Sitting at a desk/computer for prolonged periods of time. Standing or moving for prolonged periods. Must regularly lift or move up to 20 pounds. This role participates in random drug screening as stated in the Life Center Employee Handbook. Work Environment and Travel This job operates in a professional office and ministry environment. This role routinely interacts with staff, volunteers, and guests. Hours and Schedule Part Time:

Less than 20 hours per week. As arranged for regular office hours. Majority of role hours will be during church gatherings with some additional coordination work during the M-F workweek. Flexibility is needed for special events where children's ministry is needed.
