Job Description

Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
Location:
Crescent City, CA Pay:
$2,800 to $3,400 per week
Schedule:
Full-time contract assignment We are seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker to provide behavioral health services in a secure clinical setting in Crescent City, California. This position is ideal for an experienced clinician who is comfortable working with individuals experiencing serious mental illness, trauma, substance-use concerns, and other complex behavioral health needs. Responsibilities Conduct mental health assessments and clinical evaluations Develop and update individualized treatment plans Provide individual and group counseling services Complete crisis intervention and suicide-risk assessments Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Collaborate with medical, behavioral health, and facility staff Participate in treatment-team meetings and case consultations Support continuity of care and discharge planning Follow all facility procedures, safety protocols, and confidentiality requirements Requirements Active and unrestricted California LCSW license Recent clinical social work experience Current BLS certification Strong assessment, documentation, and crisis-intervention skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Ability to complete required background and facility clearances Experience in corrections, inpatient behavioral health, community mental health, or another high-acuity setting is preferred Compensation and Assignment Details Weekly pay between $2,800 and $3,400, depending on experience and assignment details Full-time contract opportunity Consistent weekly schedule Potential for extension based on facility need and performance Support throughout onboarding, compliance, and assignment Qualified candidates must be able to work professionally in a structured and secure environment while providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
