As part of the Primary Care-Mental Health Integration (PC-MHI) (https://www.patientcare.va.gov/primarycare/PCMHI.asp) team, you will provide comprehensive mental health and social services to veterans, helping them navigate personal challenges and improve their quality of life. Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Mental Health Counselor (LPMHC)
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and develop personalized treatment plans to address the unique needs of veterans. Provide individual, group, and family counseling to support mental health and emotional well-being. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care and connect veterans with community resources. Advocate for veterans' needs and assist with accessing benefits and services. Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Mental Health Counselor (LPMHC) Requirements A minimum of 1 year experience providing mental health services is required. Master's Degree in Social Work or similar Must have advanced license (LCSW or LPMHC in California) or equivalent from other states Must be able to provide biopsychosocial assessments, appropriately address crisis situations including evaluate for involuntary holds, diagnosis using DSM-5 and provide psychotherapy. Work Hours Monday
