Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to identify students' mental health needs and formulate personalized treatment plans using evidence-based practices. You will develop tailored interventions that address specific concerns, whether related to anxiety, trauma, or behavioral issues. Implement various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), to facilitate recovery and personal growth. Each session will focus on empowering students and promoting resilience through proven techniques. Maintain meticulous clinical records in compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards. This includes documenting treatment progress and adhering to ethical guidelines established by the National Association of Social Workers (NASW). Engage in interdisciplinary collaborations with educators, psychologists, and other health professionals to create a comprehensive care plan that addresses the multifaceted needs of each student. Participate in regular team consultations and peer reviews to ensure the continuous improvement of care quality and the sharing of best practices among colleagues. Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, therapeutic options, and available community resources to empower them as active participants in the treatment process. Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in mental health care, integrating new findings into your practice to enhance treatment effectiveness. Patient Population / Client Focus Your primary focus will be on students within the school setting, many of whom may face challenges such as trauma, anxiety, and depression. You will support these young individuals in developing coping strategies and enhancing their emotional well-being, contributing towards their overall growth and academic success. Qualifications Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, evidencing your commitment to the profession and adherence to academic standards. A valid and active license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) within the state of Florida, showcasing your qualifications to practice socially and ethically. Strong foundation in solution-focused psychotherapy techniques that allow for individualized treatment developments. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster therapeutic relationships with students, families, and fellow staff members. Effective problem-solving and critical thinking abilities to guide students through complex emotional landscapes. A desire and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to foster a supportive environment. Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive salary range of
USD 90,000
to 104,000 per year, commensurate with experience, along with bonuses for outstanding performance.
