In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive clinical counseling, conduct diagnostic evaluations, and develop personalized treatment plans to promote healing and resilience. Responsibilities Conduct thorough intake assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and ongoing patient assessments to identify mental health needs and develop tailored treatment strategies. Deliver individual, group, and family therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA). Implement specialized interventions for clients with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, PTSD, addiction issues, or Alzheimer's care needs. Manage crisis situations effectively through crisis intervention techniques and crisis management protocols to ensure client safety. Maintain detailed medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, including progress notes, treatment plans, and medical records using electronic medical record (EMR) systems. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, psychologists, educators, and community providers to coordinate care and support client well-being. Engage in case management activities such as patient care coordination, community outreach, and support for patients working through complex social or behavioral health issues. Requirements Valid state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or equivalent credential. Proven experience in psychotherapy modalities including motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and behavioral therapy. Demonstrated expertise working with children, adolescents, adults, geriatrics or individuals with disabilities across various settings such as hospitals, clinics, or community-based programs. Familiarity with EMR systems for documentation and data collection purposes; experience with CPT coding and ICD coding (ICD-9/10) is preferred. Strong understanding of medical terminology, HIPAA compliance standards, and medical documentation procedures. Experience providing services related to mental health counseling for PTSD care, addiction counseling, autism spectrum disorder interventions, special education support or Alzheimer's care is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills for intake interviews, patient education, group facilitation and interdisciplinary collaboration.
