Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and clinically skilled Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSW-A) to provide behavioral health services to boys residing in a 5600B residential group home setting in Tarboro, North Carolina. This position offers an opportunity to provide meaningful, individualized clinical support in a small, structured home environment, working with a caseload of up to five (5) male clients between the ages of 7 and 17. The LCSW-A will provide both individual and group therapy on a weekly basis, develop and maintain clinical documentation, coordinate with the residential treatment team, and provide services that support each child's treatment goals, emotional well-being, and behavioral development. Key Responsibilities Provide individual therapy sessions weekly to assigned residents. Facilitate weekly group therapy sessions appropriate to the developmental and clinical needs of the residents. Maintain a clinical caseload of up to five (5) boys, ages 7-17. Conduct clinical assessments and participate in the development and ongoing review of treatment plans. Provide evidence-based, trauma-informed, and developmentally appropriate interventions. Address behavioral, emotional, social, and family-related concerns. Collaborate with residential staff, supervisors, guardians/custodians, medical providers, schools, and other members of the treatment team as appropriate. Monitor client progress toward treatment goals and modify interventions as clinically indicated. Complete all required clinical documentation accurately and within required timeframes. Provide documentation necessary for Medicaid billing and reimbursement. Participate in treatment team meetings and case consultations as needed. Maintain confidentiality and comply with applicable federal, state, Medicaid, and agency requirements. Respond appropriately to behavioral or clinical concerns and communicate significant changes in client functioning to the appropriate team members. Promote a safe, respectful, supportive, and therapeutic environment for all residents. Qualifications Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program. Current LCSW-A license in North Carolina required. Experience working with children, adolescents, behavioral health, residential services, foster care, or similar populations preferred. Experience providing individual and/or group therapy preferred. Knowledge of trauma-informed care and behavioral health treatment approaches. Familiarity with Medicaid documentation and billing requirements preferred. Strong written, verbal, organizational, and clinical communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively with residential and clinical staff. Must demonstrate sound professional judgment and maintain appropriate boundaries with clients.
