We are currently looking for an experienced, compassionate, and career-oriented Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in our Daphne, AL clinic. We cannot hire LMSWs, LBSWs, ALCs etc. for this position. Only LICSW's and LPCs will be considered. Counselor Job Description Our Licensed Clinical Social Workers and Licensed Professional Counselors (LPCs) work alongside IBH's excellent psychiatrists and psychiatric nurse practitioners to provide clinical therapy in a traditional outpatient setting. LICSWs are an integral part of our treatment team! This is an in office position at our outpatient clinic in Daphne, AL . Counselor Salary and Benefits Salary starting at $70,000/year Quarterly bonus Malpractice insurance provided Health Insurance premiums are shared by IBH Short Term Disability provided Long Term Disability provided Life insurance provided Flex Spending Account Continuing Medical Education, including $500 for fees paid License fees paid up to $500 annually 160 hours of vacation, which includes holidays 401K Employer plan In house credentialing and billing Counselor Responsibilities Observe client behavior, assess needs and create treatment strategies Diagnose psychological, behavioral and emotional disorders Develop and put treatment plans in place in consultation with physicians, nurse practitioners and medical professionals Involve and consult with clients' families during treatment Counselor Position Requirements Active and unrestricted Social Work or LPC license in state of Alabama Ability to work without direct in-person supervision and practice autonomously Sound understanding of all federal and state regulations including HIPAA and OSHA Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.) and electronic medical records.
