Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled counselor/therapist (LPC, LICSW, LMFT) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality mental health services to individuals. This position requires strong clinical skills, empathy, and a commitment to helping clients achieve their therapeutic goals in a supportive environment. The position requires the provider to: Hold an active and unrestricted license (e.g., LPC, LICSW, LMFT) in the state of Alabama (Alabama must be your primary license) Hold a Master's degree or higher in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field. Develop individualized treatment plans based on clients' needs and goals Provide evidence-based therapy (e.g., CBT, DBT, ACT, psychodynamic therapy) to clients across diverse populations Facilitate individual therapy sessions (couples and family therapy sessions can be offered if the practitioner desires to) Monitor and document clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed Provide referrals to external resources and support services when necessary Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with state and federal regulations Uphold confidentiality and ethical standards as outlined by licensing boards and professional organizations Must be comfortable working with LGBTQ+ clients and non-religious clients
