Header Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our dynamic behavioral health team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in clinical counseling, including psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and specialized therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy and trauma-focused therapy. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of diverse patient populations through evidence-based practices and client-centered care. Header Responsibilities Provide individual, and family counseling sessions utilizing evidence-based approaches such as psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, and trauma-focused therapy. Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations using ICD-10 coding standards to develop personalized treatment plans. Implement crisis management protocols to ensure patient safety during acute episodes, including crisis intervention and behavior management strategies. Deliver specialized therapies for populations including children with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, PTSD, and individuals with co-occurring disorders. Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinical documentation standards within Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) systems. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, including case management and social work services. Engage in ongoing research and data collection to support clinical research initiatives and improve treatment outcomes. Provide telehealth therapy sessions utilizing secure platforms while adhering to clinical ethical guidelines. Header Qualifications Valid state licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or equivalent credential. Demonstrated expertise in psychotherapy modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance/movement therapy, and trauma-focused approaches. Experience working with children, adolescents, adults, geriatrics, and individuals with disabilities or developmental disorders. Proficiency in crisis intervention techniques and crisis management protocols. Knowledge of
ICD-9/ICD-10
coding systems for accurate diagnosis documentation. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and clinical documentation standards for remote service delivery. Strong understanding of medical terminology related to mental health assessments and patient care documentation. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment while maintaining compliance with HIPAA and clinical ethical guidelines. $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
