Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) to join our dynamic behavioral health team! Services provided will be Therapeutic Rehabilitation (TRP). In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive clinical services to adults. Your expertise will help clients navigate mental health challenges, trauma, behavioral issues, and co-occurring disorders through evidence-based practices. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact by delivering high-quality patient-centered care through an outpatient setting. You will collaborate with leadership staff to develop individualized treatment plans and ensure adherence to clinical documentation standards and ethical guidelines. Duties Conduct thorough mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-10 coding standards. Implement crisis intervention strategies and crisis management protocols to support clients experiencing acute mental health episodes or emergencies. Develop personalized treatment plans aligned with clinical best practices. Document all patient interactions accurately within Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) systems while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinical documentation standards. Collaborate with behavioral health professionals on integrated care teams to coordinate services for individuals with severe mental illness. Facilitate intake assessments to ensure comprehensive patient support from initial contact through ongoing care. Engage in ongoing clinical research and data collection efforts to enhance treatment outcomes and contribute to the advancement of behavioral health practices. Skills Strong experience working with adults in various settings such as outpatient clinics or inpatient facilities. Skilled in crisis management, crisis intervention, behavior management, and de-escalation techniques for individuals experiencing mental health crises. Familiarity with ICD coding systems (ICD-10) for accurate diagnosis documentation; experience with
CPT/HCPCS
coding is a plus. Excellent patient assessment skills combined with the ability to develop effective treatment planning tailored to individual needs. Knowledge of clinical documentation standards including medical records management while adhering to HIPAA and ethical guidelines. Experience working with adults who have severe mental illness. Competency in delivering services securely using HIPAA-compliant platforms; familiarity with EMR/EHR systems is essential. Strong communication skills for client engagement and team building.
