Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) to join our dynamic behavioral health team! Services provided will be Therapeutic Rehabilitation (TRP). In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive clinical services to adults with severe mental illness. Your expertise will help clients navigate mental health challenges, trauma, behavioral issues, and co-occurring disorders through evidence-based practices. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact by delivering high-quality patient-centered care through an outpatient setting. You will collaborate with leadership staff to develop individualized treatment plans and ensure adherence to clinical documentation standards and ethical guidelines. Duties Complete behavioral-health intake assessments and determine clinical/service needs. Develop initial individualized treatment/service plans with measurable goals and objectives. Complete recurring treatment-plan reviews and updates according to Medicaid/MCO requirements and medical necessity. Prepare clinical components of TRP prior-authorization requests for

H2019/H2020.

Gather and organize the clinical documentation necessary to support continued authorization/reauthorization . Track authorization expiration dates and make sure renewals are submitted before services lapse. Review PA denials and help prepare clinical reconsiderations/appeals. Work with your Medicaid billing specialist on claim denials and appeals when the denial involves clinical documentation or medical necessity. Review TRP progress/service notes for completeness, medical necessity, consistency with the treatment plan, and Medicaid/MCO compliance. Identify deficient documentation and work with direct-care staff to correct documentation problems. Provide the required licensed clinical supervision, consultation and support to TRP direct-care staff. Maintain clinical records and help ensure they're audit-ready.. Document all patient interactions accurately within Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) systems while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinical documentation standards. Collaborate with behavioral health professionals on integrated care teams to coordinate services for individuals with severe mental illness. Skills Strong experience working with adults in various settings such as outpatient clinics or inpatient facilities. Skilled in crisis management, crisis intervention, behavior management, and de-escalation techniques for individuals experiencing mental health crises. Familiarity with ICD coding systems (ICD-10) for accurate diagnosis documentation; experience with

CPT/HCPCS

coding is a plus. Excellent patient assessment skills combined with the ability to develop effective treatment planning tailored to individual needs. Knowledge of clinical documentation standards including medical records management while adhering to HIPAA and ethical guidelines. Experience working with adults who have severe mental illness. Competency in delivering services securely using HIPAA-compliant platforms; familiarity with EMR/EHR systems is essential. Strong communication skills for client engagement and team building.
