Job Description

Company Overview Weems Community Mental Health Center is dedicated to providing comprehensive outpatient mental health services to children and adults across nine counties in the region. Our mission is to support mental well-being through compassionate care and innovative treatment options, fostering healthier communities. Summary We are seeking dedicated Bachelor-level mental health professionals to join our team at Weems Community Mental Health Center in the United States. Based in our regional offices, you will play a vital role in delivering quality mental health services that align with our commitment to community well-being. Responsibilities Provide community-based support services to individuals with mental health needs. Assist clients in developing skills related to daily living, coping, medication management, and community integration. Complete progress notes and documentation in accordance with program and state requirements. Coordinate with therapists, families, medical providers, and other agencies to support client goals. Monitor client progress and adjust support strategies as needed. Participate in treatment team meetings and ongoing professional development. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all ethical, legal, and agency standards. Coordinate and oversee the daily activities and programming of the Psychosocial Rehabilitation (PSR) program . Develop, organize, and facilitate structured PSR groups and activities designed to improve clients' daily living, social, communication, vocational, and independent living skills. Provide skills training and supportive interventions to individuals with mental health needs in accordance with their individualized treatment plans. Assist clients in developing skills necessary to function successfully in the community and improve overall independence. Coordinate daily schedules, group activities, educational opportunities, and other program-related activities. Monitor client participation, progress, and response to PSR services. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided, client participation, and progress toward identified goals. Ensure PSR services are provided in accordance with agency policies, treatment plans, and applicable Mississippi Department of Mental Health standards and regulations. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or related field. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Knowledge of mental health treatment approaches and ethical standards. Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism. Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Prior experience working with diverse populations is preferred. Pay:
$30,000.00 per year
