Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Master's Level Mental Health Therapist/Counselor to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver evidence-based mental health interventions, including psychotherapy and crisis management, to children, adolescents, and their families. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background, experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, and a passion for making a positive impact in the lives of vulnerable populations. Duties . Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions incorporating modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-focused therapy if needed, psychodynamic therapy, and art or play therapy as appropriate. Implement evidence-based practices including motivational interviewing, applied behavior analysis, and behavior management techniques tailored to each client's needs. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on in-home care plans and session documentation requirements. Participate in ongoing mental health assessments, treatment outcomes Facilitate child & youth therapy sessions focusing on social work principles, family counseling, autism spectrum disorder interventions, and special education considerations. Experience Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field from an accredited institution. Licensure or certification as required by state regulations (e.g., LCSW, LPC) is preferred but NOT mandatory for some roles; relevant supervised experience is essential. Demonstrated experience working with children and adolescents with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder. Proven track record in delivering clinical counseling using evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy (TFT), and psychodynamic approaches. Experience working within the school system--a plus or outpatient settings Familiarity with HIPAA compliance requirements. Strong skills in crisis intervention, in-home counseling, and behavior management strategies.
