Company Overview Unique HCC, Inc. is a comprehensive behavioral health program dedicated to serving children and youth with Autism and other behavioral concerns under the NJ Children's System of Care. We are committed to providing specialized, compassionate mental health services tailored to the needs of our diverse client population. Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Master's Level Mental Health Therapist/Counselor to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver evidence-based mental health interventions, including psychotherapy and crisis management, to children, adolescents, and their families. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background, experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, and a passion for making a positive impact in the lives of vulnerable populations. Duties . Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions incorporating modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-focused therapy if needed, psychodynamic therapy, and art or play therapy as appropriate. Implement evidence-based practices including motivational interviewing, applied behavior analysis, and behavior management techniques tailored to each client's needs. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on in-home care plans and session documentation requirements. Participate in ongoing mental health assessments, treatment outcomes Facilitate child & youth therapy sessions focusing on social work principles, family counseling, autism spectrum disorder interventions, and special education considerations. Experience Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field from an accredited institution. Licensure or certification as required by state regulations (e.g., LCSW, LPC) is preferred but NOT mandatory for some roles; relevant supervised experience is essential. Demonstrated experience working with children and adolescents with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder. Proven track record in delivering clinical counseling using evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy (TFT), and psychodynamic approaches. Experience working within the school system--a plus or outpatient settings Familiarity with HIPAA compliance requirements. Strong skills in crisis intervention, in-home counseling, and behavior management strategies. $40.00 - $75.00 per hour
