QMHS Group Facilitator - Therapeutic Behavioral Services (TBS) Genesis Recovery and Wellness of Ohio Fairlawn, OH Job Details Full-time $22 - $25 an hour 2 hours ago Qualifications Sociology Master's degree Criminal Justice Human Services Medicaid Social Work Full Job Description Genesis Recovery and Wellness of Ohio is seeking a full-time Qualified Mental Health Specialist (QMHS) to facilitate Therapeutic Behavioral Services (TBS) groups for adults receiving dual diagnosis outpatient health treatment. Responsibilities Facilitate engaging TBS group sessions that incorporate evidence-based behavioral interventions . Monitor and document client progress through detailed medical records, electronic health records (EHR), and data collection tools while maintaining strict confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Support clients with crisis intervention, ensuring safety and stability during behavioral or emotional episodes. Collaborate with clinical staff, families, caregivers, and other healthcare providers to coordinate comprehensive mental health and behavioral care. Requirements Applicants must currently qualify as an Ohio Qualified Mental Health Specialist (QMHS) and meet Ohio Medicaid practitioner requirements for providing Therapeutic Behavioral Services under the supervision required by Ohio Administrative Code. Candidates should possess one of the following: Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Human Services, Sociology, Criminal Justice, or another behavioral science field and meet Ohio QMHS requirements; or Master's degree in a behavioral health field. Preferred Qualifications Experience facilitating adult behavioral health groups. Experience working with mental illness, co-occurring disorders, or substance use disorders. Knowledge of CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, trauma-informed care, and recovery-oriented treatment. Experience using electronic health records. Strong documentation and organizational skills.
