Key Qualifications:
Active and unrestricted Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) credential required
Demonstrated experience in educational or youth-focused counseling settings
Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate, student-centered approach
Knowledge of age-appropriate counseling techniques and best practices
Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, administrators, and families
Record of maintaining ethical standards and confidentiality
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver individual and group counseling to students, supporting emotional well-being
Conduct assessments to identify student needs and develop tailored intervention plans
Serve as a resource for teachers and staff, providing guidance on student mental health issues
Participate in meetings, such as IEPs and multidisciplinary team reviews, as needed
Communicate proactively with parents and guardians to foster a holistic approach to student support
Support prevention programs that encourage positive behavior, conflict resolution, and self-esteem
Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with school protocols and relevant regulations
