Job Description

Outpatient Therapist
  • DJJ This opportunity allows you to provide comprehensive clinical assessments and therapeutic interventions for adolescents involved in the juvenile justice system at our local probation offices.
As an outpatient therapist with HCS at DJJ you will enjoy a dynamic, fast-paced environment where no two days are ever the same. You will also be able to work closely with probation officers to assist adolescents on probation in reaching their goals through providing interventions surrounding trauma, substance use, anger management, and other important life skills. Licensed eligible individuals will receive weekly clinical supervision toward licensure.

Abingdon & Bristol, VA Juvenile Probation offices
Status:
Full-time, Exempt Compensation:
$55,000
  • $57,000 Licensed Eligible/$60,000
  • $70,000 Licensed
  • Commensurate with education/experience.
Education:
Master's degree eligible to seek Licensure for Supervision in Virginia or
LPC, LCSW, LMFT.
Experience:
Two years' experience in mental health or substance use preferred. Benefits
